Meet June: an AI giving agent for the agentic economy

9 min readBy Charity June Editorial

When a disaster hits the news, generosity spikes for a day—and then often fades before money reaches the organizations on the ground. Charity June exists to close that gap. June is an AI giving agent: chat to find urgent, relevant causes—as specific as you want—then donate once or subscribe. Direct a gift to a cause you choose, or give generally so June can route support to verified U.S. 501(c)(3) charities meeting urgent need.

Agent-first, not form-first

Most charity sites ask you to pick a cause, fill a form, and hope the rest works out. June flips the order. Chat with her about what you care about, then give once or subscribe. She runs with a four-stage loop—Sense, Decide, Verify, Act—so support can reach verified organizations when need is highest.

Sense → Decide → Verify → Act

Sense pulls live disaster and relief signals (including sources like GDACS). Decide scores urgency and writes a rationale—using Gemini when available, with a heuristic fallback when it is not. Verify checks that a candidate nonprofit can receive a disbursement through partners such as Every.org. Act routes support to verified charities meeting urgent need.

Several hands stacked together in a gesture of teamwork and shared purpose
June matches intent to verified organizations already serving the need.

June is an agent, not a platform brochure. Chat to find urgent causes, then donate to a cause you choose—or give generally so she can route support to verified need.

Charity June design principles

What supporters are funding

Contributions power June’s giving—covering hunger relief, education, healthcare, clean water, environmental protection, and disaster response through verified nonprofits. 90% of each gift funds grants to verified causes; 10% covers operations, including payment processing fees. Charityjune Inc. is a registered U.S. nonprofit corporation; IRS recognition of tax-exempt status under section 501(c)(3) is pending and has not yet been obtained, so we do not treat gifts to the entity as federally tax-deductible until that changes.

Built for real giving

The point of Charity June is simple: help people find urgent, relevant causes and get support to verified charities—whether you name a specific need or trust June to route a general gift. Verification before routing is how the agent stays useful, not theatrical.
