Terms of Service
Last updated: July 17, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the websites, applications, and related services (collectively, the "Services") operated by Charityjune Inc. under the brand Charity June. By using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
1. Who we are
The contracting party for the Services is Charityjune Inc., a registered U.S. nonprofit corporation doing business as Charity June (also referred to as "June," "we," "us," and "our"). Charity June is a brand and product name, not a separate legal entity. References to Charity June on the Services mean Charityjune Inc. unless context requires otherwise.
Charityjune Inc. is organized as a nonprofit corporation. June is our AI giving agent. Through the Services, you may chat with June to find urgent, relevant causes—as specific as you want—then make one-time donations or subscriptions. You may direct a gift toward a cause you choose, or give generally so June can route support to verified charitable organizations (typically U.S. 501(c)(3) public charities) meeting urgent need. Charityjune Inc. facilitates that mission. IRS recognition of tax-exempt status under section 501(c)(3) is pending and has not yet been obtained. Until we receive an IRS determination letter and update these Terms and our Legal page accordingly, gifts made through the Services are not marketed as tax-deductible donations to Charityjune Inc.. Deductibility for you depends on applicable law and the path of funds to already-qualified charities. Consult a tax advisor.
We are not a bank, broker-dealer, or investment advisory service, and the Services do not offer investment returns.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be able to form a binding contract where you live to use the Services. If you create an account, you are responsible for all activity under that account and for keeping credentials secure. Notify us promptly of unauthorized use by contacting legal@charityjune.ai.
You represent that information you provide is accurate and that you will use the Services only for lawful purposes consistent with these Terms.
3. Donations, subscriptions, and payments
You may make one-time donations or purchase recurring subscriptions through the Services. Fees, amounts, billing cycles, and renewal terms are presented at checkout or in your account. Payments are processed by third-party processors (such as Stripe). We do not store full payment card numbers on our servers.
Unless stated otherwise and subject to applicable law, subscriptions may renew until you cancel through the billing tools we provide or as otherwise required by law. Chargebacks, refunds, and failed payments may reduce amounts available for charitable giving.
4. Giving agent and how gifts are used
June is an AI giving agent available through the Services. You may chat with June to discover urgent, relevant causes and verified charities. You may donate once or subscribe: direct support toward a cause you choose with June's help, or give generally so June can route gifts to verified charitable organizations meeting urgent need. Routing and matching may use real-world signals, charity discovery partners, and verification that an organization can receive funds.
Subject to these Terms and applicable law, Charityjune Inc. commits that of each donation or subscription payment received through the Services: 90% will be directed to verified charitable organizations (including via grant rails and partner platforms we use), and 10% may be retained for necessary operations of Charityjune Inc.. The operations share includes payment processing fees charged by third-party processors, as well as administration, infrastructure, compliance, and related expenses supporting the Services and charitable giving. Amounts under this commitment will not be distributed as profits to private shareholders.
Chargebacks, refunds, failed payments, taxes (if any), and amounts that never settle may reduce what is available to direct. The 90%/10% commitment applies to settled gift amounts as described above.
Nothing on the Services guarantees that any gift is tax-deductible for you. Timing of grants depends on available funds, partner organizations, and applicable rules. When you designate a cause or organization through chat or checkout, we use that designation to direct support as presented in the flow. When you give generally, June routes support to verified charities meeting urgent need. Consult a qualified professional about tax treatment.
5. Acceptable use
You will not misuse the Services (for example: illegal activity, security breaches, scraping that harms performance, impersonation, fraud, or distributing malware). We may suspend or terminate access for violations or to protect users, partners, or the integrity of the Services and charitable giving.
6. Intellectual property
Charityjune Inc. and its licensors own the Services, branding (including Charity June and June), software, and content we provide, except where you retain rights in content you submit. You receive a limited, revocable, non-exclusive license to use the Services as intended under these Terms.
7. Volunteers and community contributors
If you apply to volunteer or contribute unpaid work, additional guidelines on our Volunteers page may apply. Volunteer roles do not create an employment, partnership, or agency relationship unless we expressly agree otherwise in writing.
8. Disclaimers
The Services are provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties such as merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant uninterrupted operation or that any particular need will be funded on any particular timeline.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Charityjune Inc. and its officers, directors, employees, and agents are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Our aggregate liability for claims arising out of the Services is limited to the greater of the amounts you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or fifty U.S. dollars (USD $50), unless applicable law requires otherwise.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the laws of the state in which Charityjune Inc. is organized as a nonprofit corporation, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory local consumer laws apply. Courts located in that state shall have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms (subject to any rights consumers may have under applicable law to bring claims in their home courts). Additional entity details appear on our Legal page.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms. We will post the revised version and update the "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance, where allowed by law.
